HR Administrative Assistant -Tampa

Prestige Tampa high profile firm seeks candidate to be both HRIS administration and entry of all personnel files. Plus be back up to corporate admin. dept

 

Ø       Enters and ensures that employee data is accurately entered and maintained in the appropriate    HRIS and audited in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements for corporate and multiple sites

Ø       Prepares and maintains personnel file information and other filing as needed with overall accountability for all related record keeping

Ø       Responsible for HR documents, files, and file room organization

Ø       Set-up and maintain New Hire and Separation files and audits for completion

Ø       Maintains weekly New Hire and Separation lists

Ø       Responds to routine questions on HR forms, records, policies and/or procedures

Ø       Coordinates appointments, calendars and correspondences for the HR team

Ø       Prepares HR department meeting agendas, scheduling conference rooms, and compiling meeting materials

Ø       Coordinates invoice payments, budget tracking and expense reports

Ø       Provides back-up coverage for Corporate Receptionist to include established break/meal periods, absences, or otherwise needed

Ø       Prepares documents in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other software

Ø       Assists with annual training, the merit process, and reward and recognition programs

Ø       Responses to employment verifications and communications with off site storage vendor

Ø       Interacts with unemployment vendor and other third parties as needed

Ø       Assists with other projects as assigned
 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Ø       Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ø       Discretion and confidentiality required

Ø       Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate flexibility

Ø       Ability to support multiple managers

Ø       Strong follow-up skills

Ø       Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Ø       PC skills (email, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required, Lawson experience a plus

Ø       Self generator, initiative

Ø       Team Player

 

 High School diploma or GED and 2 years administrative experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Human Resources experience desired.
