Director of HR Talent

The client is a Global financial services organization, they are currently seeking a senior candidate to head their the regional talent management team for the Asia Pacific region.

Reporting to the Global Head of Talent , you will be responsible for the development, implementation and strategic direction of all talent management initiatives for the APAC region. This is a lead role in Asia and you will work with the global headquarter in to build a sustainable Talent model that will see the business continue to grow. You will look at developing high potentials within the business and provide high end coaching, career counseling and career development activities. You will utilize the use of vendors and external providers and it is up to you to assess the quality and relevance of all 3rd party providers. This is a strategic level position and you will work closely with both HR and the business in order to provide an all round talent management solution.

We seek a candidate with a minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in talent management in a regional or global capacity with a major multinational company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of the Asia Pacific region, but also also open to those who has experience of implementing a high end talent prograam with a large global organization. Dynamic and forward thinking, you will have the ability to solve complex problems that require 'out of the box' thinking combined with strong project management skills. Fluency in English is essential.Cantonese or Mandarin skills are highly advantageous in winning this position.
